Ch. 4 Response The Outsiders:Was Johnny justified in killing Bob? In otherwords did he do the right thing, or was there another choice? 2. Is violence ever justified? Is there ever an occasion where it is ok to use physical force? why or why not

  1.  Johnny did the right thing by killing Bob. it was about time one of the handsome Soc's got killed. In my opinion it was revenge because Bob was the one who cut up Johnny and terrified him. But if you think about it Johnny made a bad choice because now Johnny will have to always watch his back no matter what. Even if he is walking, because if you kill one gang member you will get killed for sure. But one advantage will be that some Soc's will be scared of Johhny after they saw what he had done to Bob the handsome Soc.

 

2.    Violence is only justified when someone threatens to kill you or they have already puched you,harmed you or, alradystarted the violence. For example North Korea threatened to start a nuclear war with The United States of America And then America was about to attack but then Korea stood back and then there was no use fr physica force . It is okay to use physical force for self defence. But if you are using physical force over a minor thing like: a two year old stole your cookie, that is an example of a stupid use for physical force.
